I must say that my experience was really good. It was exciting for me to visit different residents. Home care is fun and tough in the winter. You should always be friendly and smiling.

My greatest success was at 18 Dec. 2010 when I visited different residents alone. It was wonderful to be bicycling from place to place, and I did my duties well without problems.

My biggest challenge was the one time I over-slept. I should have gotten up at 5:00am in the morning; I got up at 6:56am and I should start at work at 7:30. When I got to the bus stop the schedule was changed. I was also lucky because my husband was at home and he helped me make the lunch boxes and get the children to kindergarten.

My most important experience is that the home care job requires good communication and understanding. You need a positive attitude because you will have different experiences with the residents.

My personal story at "Women on their way".

Hello,

Monday we went to on a short trip to Irma, which made the children very happy.

On break I talked to my colleagues and told them that it was difficult for me to stop the children.

One teacher told me that the children are very smart; they sense that I am new and that I cannot say no if they start crying. I agreed.

Tuesday we were taught to write a summary of the class with Linda January 4th. It included something about qualifications which is an important term. We also learned about the Danish culture.

Next Tuesday, I am going to talk about a teaching class in Randers. It is about development of qualifications and educational work.

Today I had a meeting with an advisor at CBSI, because I would like to change to PD3. The test did not go so well; I got very nervous. I have not done homework for a long time.

But I hope to get an opportunity with them.
